• Discovery Flights - The perfect gift!

  • Discovery Flight Experience - Immerse yourself in the ultimate flight experience. Call us to custom design your experience. Our Discovery Flight Experience starts with an hour of ground instruction, followed by approximately an hour and one half of flight instruction, and ends with post flight follow-up. This experience will give you an in-depth look into aviation and the skills and tools needed to pilot an airplane and achieve your pilot's license. This total flight experience only costs $260.00. Students may bring up to two passengers with them on this experience. The new pilots are given a logbook, certificate of completion, and a Tailwind t-shirt upon completing their experience.

  • Discovery Flight - This flight expands the Intro. Discovery Flight for a more in-depth look into the world of Aviation. Students can design their own flight experience. Start your flight with 45 minutes of ground instruction and flight planning, then fly your 45 minute flight plan and finish your flight with a flight review and some post-flight discussion. This flight will give the student an intermediate look into aviation and the necessary training to achieve a pilot's license. This intermediate discovery flight costs $175.00. Students may bring up to two passengers with them on their flight. The new pilots are given a logbook, certificate of completion, and a Tailwind t-shirt upon completing their experience.

  • Introductory Discovery Flights - This flight is only $69.00 and is an intro flight for those considering flight instruction or just wanting to learn a little more about flying. These flights are short in duration, but allow the prospective aviator to experience a flight lesson. Each lesson starts with about 20 minutes of pre-flight ground instruction and then the student will spend about 20 minutes flying the airplane with the instructor. The lesson concludes with about a 15 minute post flight review.

• Aerial Photography

  • Tailwind Flight Center offers photo flights for anyone interested in aerial photography. Take this opportunity to photograph your home, cabin, or business.
