Why should I choose
Tailwind Flight Center for my flight instruction?
Because
you want training that will last through a lifetime, not just for the
first few months following your checkride.
There
are many more FAA Certificated pilots in the United States than there
are active flyers. Some stopped because of reasons beyond their
control--finances, family needs, and job pressures, but far more are
inactive simply because they do not feel really comfortable flying and
dealing with the minute-to-minute demands of aviation. In many
of these instances, the weak link was the instructor responsible for
initial flight training: by aiming at "minimum standards"
and not providing thorough schooling and testing. Many instructors can
set students up for future disappointments and failure.
By
contrast, the staff at Tailwind Flight Center guarantee to provide
training well above minimum standards; we assure you of complete and
thorough mastery of all the skills necessary to make you a safe pilot.

Will my training be structured?
Yes. At
Tailwind Flight Center our professional instructors will provide you with structured
learning, following step-by-step Jepessen's Private and Instrument/Commercial
Pilot training syllabus available through our in-house Pilot
Supply Shop.

Can I choose my instructor?
Yes. At
Tailwind Flight Center you work one-on-one with your instructor. We recognize
the importance of the instructor-student bond and it's important to
us that you, and your instructor, have a great relationship.

How often will I have a
lesson?
You can set your
own pace to fit the demands of today's challenging schedules. However,
we recommend that you schedule at least two, one and a half hour lessons
per week to keep your newly acquired skills sharp as you progress forward
throughout training.

How do I pay for my flight
instruction?
You can pay per
flight lesson. We accept MasterCard, VISA, and personal checks.
